

Matty Woo kicked off his career in the music industry in 2002 slinging road cases for The Beautiful Girls and quickly made his way into international Tour Management for bands such as Angus & Julia Stone, The Fumes, The Cat Empire, Jackson Jackson, The Goons Of Doom. This saw Matt tour extensively through the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, SE Asia, South Africa and Australia.
After 7 years on the road Matty Woo planted his feet in Sydney and formed Matty Woo Management an Artist & Events Management company. Now re-branded as Pistol MGMT, the current roster includes Dune Rats, Last Dinosaurs, Kid Mac and surfing podcast Ain't That Swell.
Alongside artist management, Matt is also Co-owner (with the three members of Dune Rats) and Label Manager for Ratbag Records (BMG) - Skegss, Rat Boy, The Gooch Palms, Totty, Pandamic and Molly.
Outside of Artist and Label Management, Matt has also worked as a production Manager on WSL World Surfing Tour and as Event Manager and Event Director for corporate events such as The Smooth chocolate Festival, Vivid Sydney Event Summit, Party in The Park and was co-owner of the Big Pineapple Music Festival.
Matt currently resides in music and arts hub, Byron Bay, which is home to Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival and Byron Bay Blues & Roots Festival.
